Dr. Jess Ghannam is Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Global Health Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco and Adjunct Professor of Ethnic Studies at San Francisco State University. He is a Psychoanalyst and practices in San Francisco and the East Bay.
Dr. Hatem Bazian received his Ph.D. in Philosophy and Islamic Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. Bazian is a senior lecturer in the Departments of Near Eastern and Ethnic Studies. Dr. Bazian also served as an adjunct professor of law at Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley (2002-2007).
Tarek Alkadri has been a Dallas/Fort Worth area community leader for many years and an MLFA board member since 2006. Alkadri is currently a board member of the North Texas Islamic Council, board member of the Islamic Association of North Texas (IANT) and past board member of Islamic Services Foundation (ISF).
Mouffa Nahhas has been a Dallas/Fort Worth area community leader for 20 years. He is a past president of the Council on American Islamic Relations – DFW Chapter, current director of IslamStory.com, and founder and current board member of Dar El-Salam Islamic Center in Arlington, Texas.
Khalil Meek (non-voting) is a co-founder of the Muslim Legal Fund of America and the current Executive Director. He served as the President of the Islamic Association of Lewsiville/Flower Mound (2001 – 2007), and President of the Council of American Islamic Relations – DFW Chapter (2004 – 2007).
